Scour is a great concept for a search engine. Bring together the results of Google, Yahoo, and MSN along with user ratings and comments to make sure that the first page of results is the only page you’ll need. But the results are clogged with ads and extra spacing that you don’t need.
Scour+, developed by myself, solves two problems with one script. It makes Scour have a fixed width, meaning that widescreen users have an easier time reading the search results. It also removes any and every sponsored ad, making Scour better than every to search with.

To use Scour+, you’ll have to be using Firefox with the Stylish installed, which is an awesome addon that lets users customize the way their browsers view webpages, and it can modify Firefox itself too. You can view more styles at Userstyles.org, where Scour+ is hosted.

At this point in time, finding your way around town has been limited to using a program like Google Maps, searching for the place you are looking for, and getting directions there. However, Enkin is going to revolutionize how we use our GPS systems. With Enkin, you can instantly change between the standard sattelite view and a “live” view. The live view takes advantage of mobile devices built-in camera, allowing users to view find where they are going in 3D. The live view displays the name of your desination(s) and how far away you are from them, which makes it really easy to get to where you want to go. The creators of Enkin made a video showing off all of the great features in Enkin:
You probably noticed that the creators said that they entered Enkin into the Google Android project, and even though Enkin didn’t make it into the Top 50 Android Apps, Google personally contacted the makers of Enkin to discuss the “future of Enkin.” Hopefully Enkin will be on our Google-powered phones sooner rather than later.

This blog post officially kicks off the Photoshop Tutorial Review mini-series, and it only seemed natural to start off with PhotoshopTutorials.ws. Entering PST, I was very happy. The site is clean, no clutter, and not over-done. The purpose of this post is not to actually be a tutorial, its for me to do the actual tutorial, and then provide anything that I believe could be improved upon, allowing you to get the best of the best. At PST, there are many different types of tutorials. There are tutorials strictly about Photoshop, but there is also photography, downloads, and forums to seek further help. One thing that separates this tutorial site from the rest is that it actually pays members who write great tutorials cash via Paypal. As I browsed the tutorials, I noticed they were very novice-friendly and detailed. After finding one that I really liked, I will walk through it beginning to end.
